Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Symple Tech Solutions LLC ("Symple"), with its registered address at 24000 Alicia Pkwy #17-316, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, United States, operating the TraemeloExpress platform in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

This policy applies specifically to the TraemeloExpress platform. Symple's corporate privacy policy, which covers its other products and services, is available at https://sympletechsolutions.com/privacy.

2. What we collect

When you place an order: your name, phone number, email address (optional), delivery address (street, number, neighbourhood, city, postal code) and the geographic coordinates of that address, which we use to calculate the route and the delivery fee. We also record the order itself: the dishes, the amounts, tips, payment method and order status.

If you are a restaurant or a courier: your name, email address, phone number, role on the platform, and the business or vehicle information needed to operate.

Technical data: a session cookie required to keep you logged in, and — if you signed up with a password — a cryptographic hash of that password. We never store your password in plain text.

Payment data: processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and never pass through our servers or our database. From a payment we store only the method type, the amount, the status and the identifier Stripe returns to us.

3. Why we use your data

To process and deliver your orders, coordinate the restaurant and the courier, and give you order-status updates.

To send you WhatsApp notifications about your orders: confirmation, delivery status, and one-time verification codes where applicable.

To process payments, charges, refunds and disputes.

To provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. WhatsApp and the messages we send

We use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform to send transactional notices about your order. To do so, your phone number is shared with Meta and with the messaging provider used by our account (Twilio), solely to deliver those messages.

We only send messages related to orders you started or to your account. We do not send advertising or promotions over WhatsApp. You can reply "STOP" or write to us to stop receiving messages; notices strictly required to complete an in-progress order may continue while that order is active.

5. Who we share it with

With the restaurant and the courier fulfilling your order: your name, delivery address, phone number and order details, because they are required to deliver it.

With service providers acting on our behalf: Stripe, Meta, Twilio, OpenRouteService and Heroku.

With authorities, only where there is a legal obligation or a duly founded request.

6. Cookies

We use one strictly necessary session cookie so you can log in and stay logged in. We use no advertising cookies, no third-party analytics trackers and no social media pixels.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. Afterwards we keep it only as long as needed to meet tax, accounting or legal obligations, or to handle disputes, and then we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or objection to the processing of your personal data, and you can withdraw any consent you have given, by writing to admin@sympletechsolutions.com from the email address or phone number you registered with.

We will respond within 20 business days. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you may apply to the Mexican data-protection authority.

9. Minors

The platform is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy
